Black Mission Fig Strip Steaks
- 1/2 cup Black Mission Fig Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt Sisters’s Himalayan Sea Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 3 New York Strip Steaks
Place steaks in a ziplock bag. Add Black Mission Fig Balsamic and Garlic Olive Oil in bag. Let out all of the air and seal. Rub oil and balsamic into the steaks through the outside of the bag. Let marinade for about 6 hours.
Once steaks are done marinating, preheat grill to medium heat (we use charcoal so I let the coals get white before I throw the steaks on). Grill steaks to preferred doneness.
Remove from grill, season with himalayan sea salt and pepper.
