Black Mission Fig Strip Steaks

Our Black Mission Fig Balsamic makes the PERFECT marinade for steaks! Charlie’s County Market had a special on New York Strips this past weekend so I tossed them in a bag with some Garlic Olive Oil & this DELICIOUS balsamic. The acid in balsamic vinegar it an AMAZING meat tenderizer! This EASY marinade will be your new FAVORITE!
  • 1/2 cup Black Mission Fig Dark Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt Sisters’s Himalayan Sea Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 New York Strip Steaks


Place steaks in a ziplock bag. Add Black Mission Fig Balsamic and Garlic Olive Oil in bag. Let out all of the air and seal. Rub oil and balsamic into the steaks through the outside of the bag. Let marinade for about 6 hours.

Once steaks are done marinating, preheat grill to medium heat (we use charcoal so I let the coals get white before I throw the steaks on). Grill steaks to preferred doneness.

Remove from grill, season with himalayan sea salt and pepper.
